Το βιβλίο «Λογοθεραπευτική παρέμβαση μετά το κοχλιακό εμφύτευμα» του λογοθεραπευτή και κλινικού επόπτη Δρ. Μπίνου Πάρη προσφέρει με τρόπο συνοπτικό και διδακτικό πολύτιμες γνώσεις στον τομέα της κοχλιακής εμφύτευσης στα παιδιά με προγλωσσική κώφωση, ο αριθμός των οποίων αυξάνεται τα τελευταία χρόνια με την πρόοδο των διαγνωστικών μέσων.
Βασισμένο στην εμπειρία του συγγραφέα, το βιβλίο παρέχει με συστηματικό τρόπο γνώσεις και πρακτικές μεθόδους ειδικής λογοθεραπευτικής παρέμβασης σε παιδιά κατά τη μετεγχειρητική περίοδο κοχλιακής εμφύτευσης, προκειμένου να οδηγηθούν στη γλωσσική κατάκτηση, σε φωνολογική αποκατάσταση και τελικά στην παραγωγή και αντίληψη του λόγου.
Η παρούσα μονογραφία θα αποτελέσει χρήσιμο εργαλείο στην κλινική πράξη για τους φοιτητές λογοθεραπείας της τριτοβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης, αλλά και για τους πτυχιούχους λογοθεραπευτές και επαγγελματίες όμορων ειδικοτήτων, καθώς προσφέρει θεμελιώδεις κατευθυντήριες οδηγίες για τη διαχείριση νηπίων με απώλεια ακοής και διαταραχές ομιλίας.
Το σύγγραμμα αυτό είναι από τα μοναδικά που υπάρχουν σήμερα στην ελληνική βιβλιογραφία αναφορικά με τους τρόπους παρέμβασης της λογοθεραπείας σε παιδιά που έχουν υποβληθεί σε κοχλιακή εμφύτευση και γενικότερα σε παιδιά με προβλήματα ακοής.
